FLOAT STREAM Universal close-cutting headers
The universal Float Stream close-cutting headers enable mowing of different tyoes of cereals, grain legume crops and flax. The minimum distance from the surface of the field to the harvester’s cutting elements enable to particularly effectively remove lodged plants, as well as soybeans or chickpeas with a low position of the first pods.
The harvester’s “floating knife” produces mowing at a height of 30 mm, adjusting well to reliefs of any complexity, both in the longitudinal and in the transverse direction.-

Qualitative benefits of the Float Stream headers
1. Durability
Installed plastic fingers on the reel rakes reduce the probability of the cutter-bar failing during the header operation in the floating knife mode.
2. Long service life
The gap-free connection of the movable support lever eliminates inertial vibrations emanating from the gearbox, which increases the service life of the cutter-bar.
3. Operation on various reliefs
The Float Stream cutter-bar with a flexible (floating) knife is mounted on spring-loaded levers and can move relative to the soil surface by 100mm and repeat all field unevenness.
4. Damage protection
The distinct shape of the stone deflectors enables the movement of the mowing and improves the contour following of the soil surface by the cutter- bar. Thereby preventing clogging and damage to the sections of the cutter-bar and contour following bottom.
5. High quality of cutting
The Schumacher cutter-bar, with a frequency of (1120 and 1260) double strokes per minute, ensures a constant cutting height at operating speeds up to 9 km/h.
6. Minimum resistance
Due to the special lining on the cutter-bar, friction is reduced on both dry and wet soil.
