FALCON Sunflower harvesting headers
Specialized 4-, 6-, 8- and 12-row FALCON series headers provide smooth harvesting of sunflower regardless of the variety and climatic conditions. Minimum losses is the FALCON key operating principle. Belt conveyors used in headers operate smoothly in any weather. They send shed seeds and baskets to the header auger reducing losses.
The position of the dividers is adjusted depending on the sunflower variety, and the minimum cutting height (600mm) ensures effective harvesting of low-growing and lodged plants. Due to the increased width of the input channels of up to 120mm and the design of dividers (cone angle of 35°, length — 910mm), clogging and pilling of sunflower stalks are eliminated.
Easy maintenance and special overload protection mechanisms ensure long-term operation. FALCON series sunflower headers can be aggregated with almost all brands of grain harvesters.-

Qualitative benefits of the Falcon headers
1. Loss reduction
The special shape of the input channels of lifters and elongated row dividers enable adjusting to the characteristics of the harvested crops, ensuring the feeding of sunflower baskets and simultaneously tilting them over the belt conveyors.
2. Reliability and failure-free operation
The original design of the auger with toothed whorls and additional ribs in the center ensures uniform feeding of baskets and sunflower seeds and increases the durability of the auger. Collected mass is fed to the harvester’s receiving window leaving the threshing baskets in the header.
3. Cutting quality
The rotary cutter mounted on the gearbox has a friction-type safety coupling for durable and safe operation, with a good cutting quality in all weather conditions.
4. Mechanical tension devices
The presence of mechanical tension devices on the header simplifies the maintenance on a shift basis of the entire unit and is easy to understand even for new machine operators.
5. Aggregated with any harvester
Using a dedicated spacer, the header can be quickly and easily aggregated with almost any harvester model.
6. Eliminating breakage
The hinge mounts of the stem dividers eliminate the damaging of the header when it runs over an obstacle.
