Rostselmash introduces its innovative machine to Moldova

Upon closure of TehAgroFest-2021 Rostselmash announced its new supply to the market of Moldova.

TehAgroFest trade fair took place in Tohatin commune of Chisinau. This year it bore rich fruit for Rostselmash and its partner in Moldova. Rostselmash exposition, displaying its innovation – TORUM 785 grain harvester, resulted into several contracts.

2021 is the third season of an annual trade fair TehAgroFest. Last year it was cancelled due to coronavirus-related restrictions. This summer it has been shifted to August instead of June. Such circumstances encouraged the participants and visitors to take an efficient business dialogue. Rostselmash agricultural machinery exhibition display organised by ATC-Agrotehcomerts, an official dealer of Rostselmash in Moldova, provided an enabling communication platform. Company specialists held several meetings with current and prospective clients. As the result, they managed to sign provisional contracts for supply of four harvesters and one RSM 2375 tractor.

“We currently see a strong interest to Rostselmash machinery and mostly to grain harvesters. First six month of 2021 demonstrated 26% sales gain comparing to the same period of 2020. TehAgroFest has strengthened our confidence in an upward trend by the end of the year” - Oleg Yarov, Head of Combines Sales Department in ATC-Agrotehcomerts, says.

As he explains, standard capacity machines, such as NOVA and VECTOR, still holds a significant share of Moldavian market. Farmers in Moldova prefer these models among other Rostselmash products. At the same time, farming sector requires high-performance machinery as well. And high-performance solutions form the basis of Rostselmash product range. For this very reason, ATC-Agrotehcomerts exposition at TehAgroFest emphasised on high-performance machinery. Rostselmash booth displayed RSM 2375 tractor, RSM 161 double-drum grain harvester of class 6. The company firstly presented its ultimate high-performance harvester TORUM 785 in Moldova. The innovative product caught new audience at once. “I work with VECTOR harvester and it fits all my needs for right now. But I am planning expansion for the next two or three seasons, which require a high-performance machinery. I am deeply impressed with the performance and functionality of this harvester.” - Says TehAgroFest visitor Viktor Rogocesku.

The TORUM 785 grain harvester is designed for harvesting all traditional grain crops — spiked cereals, bean cultures, oil plants, cereal and arable crops. It is distinguished by a unique Advanced Rotor threshing system (ARS). The rotating concave allows using 360° of its surface and avoiding dead zones and the rotor plugging. The machine is equipped with a rotor-type rethresher.

Delivering 520 h.p. with a maximum performance of 45 tonnes per operating hour, the grain harvester is capable of cutting crops in the area of up to 2000 ha per season. The transmission hydraulic drive has now 25% more power. The machine will now run fast in the second gear with a full grain tank even on the rolling ground.

Grain tank capacity is 12,000 l, while its unloading time is still 2 minutes. The unloading auger length is now increased and makes up 7.5 m, the unload height is 5.4 m, the reach angle being 105 degrees. This allows an easy unloading of grain into any trucks and trailers, even when a 14m header is used. When harvesting rice, you can unload it without leaving the bay.

The grain harvester is equipped with an innovative Agrotronic platform for agricultural management and agricultural machines operation monitoring.
