RSM F 2550 demonstrated in German fields – farmers are satisfied.
In Saxony-Anhalt, close to the border with Brandenburg, a demo featuring the high-performance RSM F 2550 from Rostselmash took place. The machine did an excellent job of cutting 10 hectares of high-yielding green rye with a high moisture content caused by heavy rainfall shortly before the demo.
The RSM F 2550 is a top performer in Rostselmash portfolio. This harvester delivers high productivity and quality of forage. The RSM F 2550 can harvest any type of silage crops, including low ones. Hydraulically driven feedrolls provide uniform material feeding and stepless adjustment of the length of cut from the cab. A cutterhead with 48 knives allows you to get the forage quality that your farm needs. Rostselmash’s focus is to build machines with maximized functionality, therefore, the RSM F 2550 includes already in base a stone and metal detector and corncracker that can be adjusted from the operator’s cab, and a video monitoring system.
What the German farmers saw at the demo was a high-performance forage harvester in action. Unlike the competition, the RSM F 2550 did an excellent job of cutting high-moisture crops and made it through.
Growers from Saxony-Anhalt who already got to know the Rostselmash’s high-performance combine praise highly this machine for its specifications, noting the excellent quality of ensiled material: at each length of cut from minimum 4mm to 20mm, and slug-free operation of the auger.
