Rostselmash machines for growers in Azerbaijan

21 April 2021

In 2021, Rostselmash will deliver more than 80 units of trailed and mounted equipment to Azerbaijan. 60% of these have already been shipped.

Agricultural production in Azerbaijan is growing despite constraints related to the pandemic.  Agricultural businesses have been actively renewing their fleets of machines and equipment. This is being supported by Rostselmash as a partner. Its combines have traditionally been in high demand in the Republic, and in 2020 the Russian maker exported for the first time MZS-90 grain blowers, ZMP-PSM grain processing systems, KIWI straw choppers and TUKAN LUXE square balers.

Many Azerbaijanian growers go for the TUKAN baler in LUXE version featuring a larger working width and an electronic control unit. This machine has additional gauge wheels which allow doing a better job of gathering wilted forage on mountain hillsides and irregular terrain.

- Azerbaijan has 9 out of 11 existing climatic zones. Farming in each of them places specific requirements to machines and equipment, which are considered by Rostselmash designers when developing new machines. As a result, the company product portfolio includes a wide range of equipment versions that are suitable for various climatic and growing conditions, says a spokesman from the export unit of the Trailed and Mounted Implements Division. - Besides grain processing and hay and forage equipment, Azerbaijanian partners showed interest in Rostselmash SH seeders. These implements have everything to meet the demands of growing agricultural production in the Republic.
