29 March 2021

Rostselmash was awarded a government contract and shipped a batch of ACROS 585 grain harvesters to Egypt. A spokesman of the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture said that the Russian equipment has a high quality and optimal cost.

Egypt is a traditional partner for Rostselmash. Last year the company shipped R series cultivators to a major agricultural equipment importer in Egypt, and now high-performance self-propelled agricultural machines.

Rostselmash has been steadily strengthening its position and increasing its presence on the African continent. The company delivered a large batch of NOVA grain harvesters to Ethiopia in 2020. Overall, Rostselmash products are traded in 10 African countries. Also, the company was visited this March by a large government delegation from the Republic of Zambia led by Minister of Finance Bwalya Emmanuel Ng’andu. Business opportunities include agricultural modernization by purchasing state-of-the-art equipment and promoting the internal agricultural engineering sector.

Rostselmash continues strengthening its positions at agricultural equipment markets abroad. The group’s exports in 2020 rose by 38% to ₽9.4bn (less VAT) versus 2019. Overall, the geography of equipment and spare parts deliveries includes more than 40 countries worldwide, from Kazakhstan and Germany to Brazil and South Africa.
