RSM 161 in German Brandenburg
Supported by the Russian Trade Mission in Germany, Rostselmash is pushing on with efforts to strengthen its position on the German market of agricultural machinery and is contributing to the implementation of the Russian national project dubbed International Cooperation and Export. November 30, Landtechnikzentrum Görzig GmbH added to its fleet an RMS 161, the first Russian-made combine on the land of the federal state of Brandenburg.
The machine was bought via RSM Agrartechnik GmbH, a Rostselmash’s official distributor in Germany and Western Europe. This Russian-made state-of-the-art machine will be used to harvest wheat and rape.
Rostselmash products have had success on the German market for many years now. The Russian maker has been actively expanding its dealer network in Germany, which allows for boosting deliveries of agricultural equipment to end users from its own warehouse in Germany.
The RSM 161 grain harvester is a Class 6 machine designed for harvesting all traditional grain crops — spiked cereals, grain legumes, oil, cereal and tilled crops. This is an efficient machine, one of the most productive in its type and class, with an output up to 40 tonnes per operating hour, capable of cutting up to 2000 ha per season.
The ceremonial handover of the machine took place on the Landtechnikzentrum Görzig’s site on November 30, 2020. The event was attended by the Russian Trade Commissioner to Germany Andrey Sobolev, RSM Agrartechnik Managing Director Mihai Ignat, Landtechnikzentrum Görzig CEO Frank Neumann.
