A European Spares Hub opened in Bulgaria
From June 2020, growers in Europe will receive deliveries of spares and components for trailed and mounted implements by Rostselmash way much faster and easier. A spares warehouse has been opened at the premises of Opticom, a Rostselmash dealer, in Staro-Zagora in Bulgaria.
First of all, the spares hub in Europe will substantially cut the delivery time for equipment components. The process is estimated to take a few days only. With every hour counting before the growing season starts, this is of ultimate importance for farmers. Beside growers in Bulgaria, farming equipment from Rostselmash is bought today by growers from the Czech Republic, Romania, Poland, Germany, Slovakia. Deliveries to Europe more than double every year. Over the past 6 months in 2020, more than 100 trailed and mounted implements were sold to European farmers despite the problems related to COVID. In Bulgaria itself, Rostselmash equipment has long been trusted by growers. The recent delivery to this country comprised 25 heads. These include ARGUS units for corn, SUN STREAM and FALCON for sunflower.
“Bought the ARGUS 670 and SUN STREAM 780 heads, I’m greatly satisfied with the quality of build of these implements. We have usually good sunflower yields, 3 tons per hectare on average. For corn, we sometimes have as high as 8 tons per hectare. So, the heads will have the job to do, commented farmer Asen Panov from the village of Brăšlânica the purchase of the new unit.
The other Bulgarian growers who bought Rostselmash heads also note the reliable and simple design, and certainly harvesting without major yield penalties.
