First Show: The First Commercial F Series Harvester
Rostselmash presented the first commercial F Series forage harvester.
The F 2650 forager is the most powerful machine in the new series. F 2000 family will include F 2450 and F 2550 models with 450 and 550 HP engines. Thus, the new range of Rostselmash F-series forage harvesters is intended to meet the demand for forage harvesters of any customers.
F 2650 harvesters were designed from scratch based on the experience gained by Rostselmash over the years of manufacturing and operating the forage harvesters of previous generations. The machines were designed to be robust enough to meet the increased power requirements.
The machines feature a rich selection of options in the basic configuration including automatic control and set-up systems to increase their efficiency and performance. The quick hitch and lock system with an automatic coupling saves time when preparing the harvester for operation. A wide selection of headers allows choosing a header for any conditions.
All harvesters have a hydraulic transmission, which not only allows them to be transported at up to 40 km/h, but also makes it easier to install modern systems like autopilot etc. And you have some nice trifles like setting the parking brake with a button. All machines can optionally be fitted with a full wheel drive.
F series machines have the header speed synchronized with the feed rolls resulting in a smooth running of components and systems under varying yield conditions. Also, you don’t need to swap sprockets to change the header speed, and the length of cut can be adjusted on the go without interrupting the process. The concave clearance can now be automatically adjusted, too.
