Rostselmash receives foreign delegations
Harvesting campaign is not far off and the Company continues to invite guests to “One Day at Rostselmash”. Last week a delegation from Slovakia and the Czech Republic familiarised itself in person with Company’s manufacturing facilities.
The guests were taken on a comprehensive tour. In a day, they were able to trace the combine manufacturing process flow. The guests closely watched how cabs were being welded by robots, how metal was being cut by lasers, how components were being carefully assembled on the main assembly lines. The grower had an opportunity to talk to the heads of departments, workers, process engineers and quality engineers of the company.
According to Martin Skružný, Director of the agricultural firm, there is no alternative to Rostselmash combines. This agricultural year, the agricultural enterprise plans to purchase some more agricultural machines to renew a quarter of the harvester fleet. In addition to the harvester product line, the farm has been already using the other machinery made by Rostselmash.
After the tour, the Slovak growers noted that the manufacturing processes they saw were really impressive, and talking to designers provided them with full information they were eager to learn.
“Tours like this one help when it comes to choosing an agricultural machine. Growers can personally evaluate the build quality of the machines. Following the results of such meetings, applications for the purchase of equipment are submitted immediately upon return,” commented a representative of the Rostselmash dealer.
