Russia’s Trade Mission to Support Rostselmash on the German Market

Andrey Sobolev, Russian Federation Trade Representative to Germany, and Mihai Ignat, CEO at RSM Agrartechnik GmbH, have discussed the strategy to strengthen the position of Russian agricultural equipment on the German market. The meeting was held before the New Year.
Mr Sobolev praised Rostselmash on its achievements. Particularly, he noted the brand’s winning of an innovations award at AGRITECHNICA-2019 and extensive demonstrations of the new forage, RSM F 2650, which were followed by a surge of orders for Russian machines, and the German pros naming it the best machine of the year.
The Russia’s Trade Representative said he would readily support the Russian manufacturer’s promotion efforts. The parties discussed joint activities that would further strengthen Russia’s position on the German market.
The first joint step would be to present Rostselmash at the forum to be run by the Russia’s Chamber of Commerce in Berlin in February. Agricultural business, major dealers, high officials were all invited to attend.
Also, Mr Sobolev and Mr Ignat talked about the possibility to share with the Germans the best practices from the Rostselmash’s educational project. This means setting up Rostselmash corporate classrooms in agricultural colleges in Germany.
