Rostselmash Sprayers
The cost and mitigation of environmental impact are key when applying plant protection products and fertilizers. With sprayers, this can only be achieved through precise application: in the right amount, evenly and without skips and overlaps. SP 275 self-propelled sprayers and RSM TS-3200/4500 Satellite trailed sprayers from Rostselmash are built to solve this challenging problem while delivering a very high performance.
The feature that the two machines share is the high application precision which is largely due to stable booms. With the boom suspended at the top, it works much like a balance that always tend to return to the neutral position. And the stabilization system ensures its stability and prevents all other undesirable effects like wing flapping, yawing. The result is the even coverage of the crop being treated, absolutely no “striped field” effect.

SP 275 self-propelled sprayers from Rostselmash are machines powered by Cummins engines with 275 HP rated and 286 HP peak, with automatic transmission, cruise control and industry-largest comfortable cab. The suspension is pneumatic with 45 cm of travel, with automatic frame to ground position control. The chassis is designed to hydraulically adjust the front and rear tread between 304 and 386 cm on the move.
The machines are available with 27/30/36m steel booms with height adjustable from 63 to 183 cm. Nozzle holders are spaced 50 cm apart, each revolving type unit has three injector nozzles in standard sizes -04,-06,-08. Boom bounce is dampened using the ability of the Henschen® metal-rubber pivot to resist twisting, a simple, reliable and effective solution.
The sprayer can alternatively come with a 4540L steel solution tank or 3785L PE tank. The SP 235 comes with a 3785L PE tank. The capacity of the rinse tank is 454 L, that of the active mixer is 30 L.
RSM TS Satellite trailed sprayers from Rostselmash come with 18 to 28m booms for TS-3200 and 24/27/28m booms for TS-4500. The lift height can be adjusted between 0.5 and 163 cm. Boom bounce is smoothed out by nitrogen-charged accumulators. Spray spacing is 50 cm, the 3-nozzle holders hold injector nozzles in standard sizes -02, -3, -04. The spray rate–like on a self-propelled sprayer–is set on the on-board computer and maintained automatically. The solution is fed by a diaphragm piston pump capable of delivering 260 litres per minute.
The units come with 3200L and 4500L PE solution tanks and 300L and 430L rinse tanks, respectively. The tank is mounted in a cradle-type frame. The chassis is tread-adjustable: 1.5/1.8/2.1m for TS-3200 and 1.5 to 2.25m for TS-4500.
Rostselmash sprayers are equipped with state-of-the-art field computers with GPS/GLONASS functionality: trailed sprayers have a direction indicator, and self-propelled sprayers feature a true hydraulic auto-pilot which allows making passes with a +/- 15 cm tolerance. All machines come with a system that automatically shuts off/turns on spray sections in overlapping areas, and on trailed sprayers nozzles can be controlled individually on the 4 end spray units. These systems make it easy to operate in wedge-shaped areas, prevent excessive application, hence, plant scorching, thereby ensuring the best effect from the use of plant protection products.
Self-propelled machines also have an AutoBoom system with ultrasonic sensors which helps the on-board computer to maintain the boom parallel to the sprayed surface. This makes it an ideal solution to application on rolling terrain.
Rostselmash sprayers are ones of the “fastest” in the industry. The recommended speed is up to 18 km/h for trailed units, up to 25 km/h for self-propelled machines. These are among the best sprayers in terms of performance and precision.
