European Growers Choose Rostselmash Grain Harvesters

18 November 2019

Despite the fact that AGRITECHNICA-2019 covers all areas of agriculture, traditionally the most popular exhibits are grain harvesters. The main grain production machines are displayed in the widest range and in different power classes, and every day the stands of grain harvesters’ manufacturers are among the most visited ones. One of the leaders in drawing attention is Rostselmash that brought to Hannover its popular models that are of demand among farmers, large farms and agricultural holdings.

The distinctive feature of Rostselmash grain harvesting machinery is its compliance with various requirements for yield, field structure, harvested crop. Performance class, threshing scheme, engine power, equipment attachment specifics – Agritechnica presents the models meeting the latest requirements.

First of all, the visitors are attracted by the innovative TORUM 770, one of the most high-performance combine harvesters in the world. This machine with a rotor-type threshing system is suitable for high-yield fields and large areas, therefore it is designed for large farms and agricultural holdings. The heart of the combine harvester is the unrivalled threshing system Advanced Rotor System (ARS). ARS includes three components: a high-throughput feeder house with an accelerator, a rotating concave and a variable ratio rotor drive, and guarantees a smoother operation and a more careful threshing as compared to other rotor-type systems.

However the conventional threshing system is installed on the RSM 161 combine harvester that includes two drums and a number of engineering solutions making the machine ultra-productive, i.e. producing up to 40 tonnes per hour. This combine harvester is also designed for large farms, but it is chosen not only because of its performance, but also because of its impeccable operation in very difficult soil conditions, that is with an extreme moisture content and a high weediness. RSM 161 is a really versatile machine because it uses different adapters to harvest all traditional grain crops, i.e. ear-forming, oil-bearing, arable crops, legumes, cereals.

Both RSM 161, and TORUM 770 are the machines that fully meet the requirements of contemporary ‘smart’ farming. A number of electronic systems – from automatic guidance and night vision to machine-to-machine communication during the planning of unloading and remote monitoring – ranks Rostselmash grain harvesters among the most important solutions for agriculture. Therefore, the attention from European growers is explainable.

NOVA 330, the modern compact combine harvester having the highest performance among peers, was a real ‘star’ at Agritechnica. The machine was designed for farmers and small farms. It does harvesting in small fields with a challenging terrain and non-typical outlines. This is a light-weight, fast and high-performance machine that can have a wide range of adapters attached for harvesting grain, arable crops, legumes. It is an ideal solution due to a combination of performance, affordability and low operating costs.

The interest of the visitors of the international exhibition will soon translate into machinery supply contracts. The Rostselmash’s European dealers in Germany and Hungary have already prepared the schedule of business appointments following the exhibition. According to Maksim Nakhabo, Marketing Director of Rostselmash, the success at AGRITECHNICA-2019 is natural. “The recognition from the European agribusiness professionals shows that we are developing in the right area, offering the timely solutions that are popular in the contemporary agriculture,” he says.
