F 2650 Nominated Machine 2020 in Germany
The forage harvester from the new F series is nominated Machine 2020 in Germany. The machine has passed prequalification and made its way to the short list of nominees.
The F 2650 forager is designed from scratch, reflecting the experience accumulated by Rostselmash over the years of manufacturing and operation of forage harvesters of previous generations. The machines were designed to be robust enough to meet the increased power requirements.
The machine features a rich selection of options in the basic configuration including automatic control and set-up systems, which increase its productivity and performance. The quick hitch and lock system with an automatic coupling saves time when preparing the harvester for operation. A wide selection of headers allows choosing a header for any conditions.

All combines have a hydraulic transmission, which not only allows them to be transported at up to 40 km/h, but also makes it easier to install modern systems like autopilot etc. And you have some nice trifles like setting the parking brake with a button. All machines can optionally be fitted with full wheel drive.
F series machines have the header speed synchronized with the feed rolls resulting in a smooth running of components and systems under varying yield conditions. Also, you don’t need to swap sprockets to change the header speed, and the length of cut can be adjusted on the go without interrupting the process. The concave clearance can now be automatically adjusted, too.
“We care for the opinion of German growers. Rostselmash has been continuously engaged in important research activities that lay the foundation for creating tractors, grain and forage harvesters and other farming equipment that is highly appreciated around the globe,” notes a Rostselmash spokesman.
The F 2650 forager is the most powerful machine in the new series. The machine is scheduled for series production in 2019. F 2000 series will also include F 2450 and F 2550 models with engines rated at 450 and 550 hp. Thus, the new line-up of F series forage harvesters by Rostselmash is designed to meet the demand for foragers from all and any customer.
