Estonians Spent Their Day at Rostselmash
It has been eight years now that Rostselmash has been inviting both existing and prospective clients to visit its main production site. This week Rostov-on-Don was visited by farm managers from Estonia.
Estonian growers got familiar with the production cycle at the key facilities, such as pressing and cutting shop, main assembly line, tractor assembly building (where RSM 2375 tractors are produced), central logistics facility, excellence centre.
Overall, the group from Estonia expressed particular interest in new models of combine harvesters, such as TORUM 770 and the compact NOVA.
- The NOVA grain harvester is the world’s most advanced machine in the compact class. It has embodied all our preferences and requirements. With a superb combination of productivity, affordability and low operational costs, this machine really stands out from the crowd, remarked Janek Soord, a company director.
- To have high yields, one has to renew the existing fleet all the time. Our combine harvesters purchased over the recent years come from Rostselmash, and we want to completely change to this make, notes Mr Moldier, director of OÜ Sauga Seemnekeskus. Harvesting performance and productivity, coupled with an affordable cost of ownership, are the key measures of the harvesting process. As regards these specifications, Rostselmash machines are second to none, he adds.
